In order for us to have whole-body health and internal balance, we must first set the correct foundation. Much like building a home, if your groundwork is not strong the walls and roof could become unsteady, cracking or even caving in. The body also must go through the proper steps of building in order for it to be able to repair and heal itself correctly and fully. Within the scope of chiropractic care, there are three stages to treatment.

Phase 1: Relief Care

Typically, patients wait until they are in chronic or severe pain before coming to us. If this is the case when you arrive, you will find it is our number one priority to help relieve your pain and get you feeling better so you can carry on with your day-to-day activities. Pending the severity of your symptoms and pain, this phase can last for 4-12 weeks with visits up to 3 times per week.

Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care

In this phase your tissue and muscles are now working toward a complete healing. This is necessary to prevent further injury. This restorative phase can last 6-24 months with visits frequenting once or twice a week.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Once your body has had the opportunity to heal, it is important to maintain the balance you have created. Doing this helps prevent future or reoccurring injury. Based on your goals and lifestyle, it may be necessary to visit anywhere from once to four times per month.
